Patented Lyre technology provides excellent isolation against handling noise. A soft feel grip is molded into the clip to prevent the from microphone twisting or slipping. Shure A89LW-KIT Rycote Windshield Kit for VP89L - Developed by Shure with Rycote, the A89LW-KIT Windshield Kit is the broadcast and media production professionals' choice when maximum isolation from wind and handling noise is required. Works with VP89L End-Address Shotgun Condenser Microphone. Kit includes suspension, windshield, and windjammer. Suspension provides up to 25 dB of isolation against handling noise and cable-borne noises by supporting the microphone in a cradle arrangement using Lyre suspension webs. Windshield basket completely surrounds the microphone and its connector, sliding onto the suspension. High-quality synthetic fur windjammer is designed to fit perfectly over the windshield and features a drawstring and toggle for a snug fit. Windshield and windjammer attenuate up to 38 dB of wind noise.
