Future Automation - SAC-U1 - Smart Airflow Control Unit 1 Designed to regulate airflow around equipment in AV cabinets or joinery, the SAC-U1 helps increase airflow and aids natural convection inside the space. Intelligent onboard electronics regulate fan state and speed and allow multiple units to work in sync to further increase airflow. By maintaining an optimal temperature for components, the SAC-U1 helps prevent overheating, maintain uptime and extend component life span. The SAC-U1 attaches to an external section of the cabinet to aid in the natural convection inside the space. Units can be combined to create an input and output to further increase airflow. Fan speed can be intelligently adapted on the fly thanks to the SAC-U1’s in-built temperature sensor. When operating with the in-built temperature sensor the user can program four temperatures to trigger the following 4 modes; Low – Shuts off one of the two in-built fans to lower power usage and noise level. Normal – operates both in built fans at 70% power. Boost – Operates both in built fans at 100% power. Overheat - Operates both in built fans at 100% power and triggers an audible alarm. Unit settings can be programmed via RS232 for easy integrator control and feedback.
