Future Automation - SAC-T - Smart Airflow Control Tray The Smart Airflow Control Tray, SAC-T, is designed to regulate airflow around equipment in AV racks or in confined spaces. When placed underneath or between AV components the SAC-T forces air upwards through and around the unit, increasing airflow and aiding the natural convection inside the space. By maintaining an optimal temperature for components, the SAC-T helps prevent overheating, maintain uptime and extend component life span. Internal fan speed can either be controlled via the front mounted LCD screen, or intelligently adapted on the fly thanks to the SAC-T’s in-built temperature sensor. When operating with the in-built temperature sensor the user can program four temperatures to trigger the following 4 modes; Low – Shuts off two out of the 4 in-built fans to lower power usage and noise level. Normal – operates all 4 in built fans at 70% power. Boost – Operates all 4 in built fans at 100% power. Overheat - Operates all 4 in built fans at 100% power and triggers an audible alarm. Unit settings can be programmed by the front mounted LCD display or via RS232 for greater integrator control and feedback.
