A89SW-KIT - Windshield Kit
Developed by Shure with Rycote, the this Windshield Kit is the broadcast and media production professionals' choice when maximum isolation from wind and handling noise is required. Works with VP89S and VP82 End-Address Shotgun Condenser Microphones. Kit includes suspension, windshield, and windjammer. Suspension provides up to 25 dB of isolation against handling noise and cable-borne noises by supporting the microphone in a cradle arrangement using Lyre suspension webs. Windshield basket completely surrounds the microphone and its connector, sliding onto the suspension. High-quality synthetic fur windjammer is designed to fit perfectly over the windshield and features a drawstring and toggle for a snug fit. Windshield and windjammer attenuate up to 38 dB of wind noise.
